WHAT - Things to Do and Scout Shops

There are many activities, like camping, high adventure and advancement opportunities, that are available throughout the year for our Scouts.

HOW - Funding Your Adventures

Scouting offers adventures and experiences to our youth. The menu of what you can do and where you can go is virtually limitless. Fishing in Alaska? Scuba in Florida? A Philmont trek? Why not? How about closer to home … a campout on the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi or a trip to Palo Duro Canyon near Amarillo? Even closer to home … how about buying pinewood derby cars for all the youth in your pack? Even the every day running of your unit has some level of expense associated with it: advancement awards and recognitions, equipment, supplies, uniforms, flags, facility fees, etc. Scouting is wonderful, but it isn’t free.
