HOW - Funding Your Adventures | ||
Scouting offers adventures and experiences to our youth. The menu of what you can do and where you can go is virtually limitless. Fishing in Alaska? Scuba in Florida? A Philmont trek? Why not? How about closer to home … a campout on the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi or a trip to Palo Duro Canyon near Amarillo? Even closer to home … how about buying pinewood derby cars for all the youth in your pack? Even the every day running of your unit has some level of expense associated with it: advancement awards and recognitions, equipment, supplies, uniforms, flags, facility fees, etc. Scouting is wonderful, but it isn’t free. | ||
