Welcome to the Circle Ten Climbing Community!

Young people today seek outdoor adventures: climbing and rappelling offer both a mental and physical challenge.

Our climbing program provides you with the opportunity for everything you need to create an active climbing program for your unit. Level I and Level II courses teach you all components to qualify for certification as a BSA Climbing Level I or II Instructor to lead safe and exciting unit, district and council events.

Please certify at least 3 members of your unit to make full use of all tower elements simultaneously and to meet the minimum requirements of Climb on Safely (2 minimum, on site, to run the tower).

Classes occur each Spring and Fall (typically March/April and September/October) at Trevor Rees-Jones Scout Camp. Cost is $45  and class size can accommodate up to 20 students. Course duration is 7:00 p.m. Friday - 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

We work in concert with Longhorn Council's rock climbing program at Sid Richardson and also recommend the North Texas Outdoor Pursuit Center for units desiring a trusted guide service for rock climbing adventures.

Registration is on Black Pug.
