Internet Advancement and Scoutbook
Units should report advancement as it occurs, but not less than monthly. Circle Ten expects all units to use the current BSA internet advancement reporting tools for their unit advancements. Scoutbook is the advancement tracking software provided by BSA and is available to all Scouts and Scout units at no cost. Scoutbook is BSA’s web application that makes tracking and reporting of advancement easier. Information about Scoutbook and a "How to" guide to Internet Advancement 2.0 is available here. For further information about Scoutbook, contact Circle Ten Council's Scoutbook Champion, Bob Acker here or at 469-952-7853.
If a unit prefers to use other methods for tracking advancement other than free Scoutbook, the advancement system must still be synced with Internet Advancement.
