What: Roundtable is a place for adult leaders in the district to gather, network with other Scouters, receive supplemental training, and learn important district and council information. The monthly event provides program topic guidance, information about district/council events, and constructive suggestions for unit leaders. It is a fun learning environment that creates excitement around the coming month of activities and programs for unit leaders to carry back for implementation in their units.
When: Second Thursday of the month
Arrival with sign-in and activity: 6:45-7 PM
Meeting runs promptly from 7-8 PM
Networking with clean-up: 8-8:15 PM
Where: See the monthly schedule below for meeting location
Why: Roundtables are district-level gatherings which exist to provide our unit leaders with the skill to do and the will to do what is needed to ensure that every member of every unit has a great Scouting experience. Come to Roundtable to replenish your cup!
More Info: Attending four Roundtables in a year and being trained for your leader position meet a third of the requirements for earning your Scouter's Training Award knot for your uniform which we will be sure our leaders get for attending.
Please send the Roundtable team any notable events or achievements you, your Scouters, or your unit plan or complete so your peers can support you and recognize the great work being accomplished!
