Mark Dempsky, District Training Chair
Welcome to Chisholm Trail training. We welcome ALL Scouts and Scouters to our training. See table below for upcoming training. If your council/district training doesn't match your schedule, please join us!
Chisholm Trail District believes in quality training that brings together Scouts and Scouters from all areas of Scouting to provide the richest environment for learning to take place - a place to fellowship, share, question, and grow.
Get your units 100% trained!
Adults registered as Scout leaders should be trained in the position for which they are serving. The “Trained” patch should only be worn if the leader is trained for the current position he or she is holding. Likewise, an adult registered in Scouting should only be serving in a position for which he or she is trained. Please help your unit and our district reach 100% trained leaders. Why:
#1 “Every Scout deserves a trained leader.” – Lord Baden Powell, the father of Scouting.
#2 It makes the leader’s job more effective and easier!
#3 The BSA offers the best training available!

To use my.scouting.org, be sure to include your BSA ID# to receive credit for your training. Ensure you have only one BSA ID#.
If you do not know your BSA ID#, you may obtain it by:
- Asking your unit leader or unit commissioner. They can access “my.scouting.org tools” and look up your member ID in the Member Manager tool. The member ID is, also, on a roster from Internet Advancement that is accessible under Home/Legacy Web Tools/Internet Advancement.
- Call your local council and ask them to look it up – Circle Ten Council: 214-902-6700
