Cub Scout and Webelos/AOL Resident Camp

Start your overnight summer camping experience at Camp James Ray on beautiful Lake Texoma at a Cub Scout Resident Camp! Thousands of Cub Scouts and Webelos/AOL enjoy swimming, outdoor skills, sports, canoeing and boating, shooting sports, and much, much more!

Summer Cub Adventure Camp at Camp James Ray is open to Cub Scouts of all ages and their families. Here families will enjoy a wide variety of fun-filled adventures and challenging activities in the great outdoors. During the weekend you can discover nature, develop Scouting Skills, enjoy the swimming pool, make s’mores, or just take time to unplug and unwind.

Webelos/AOL Resident Camp at Camp James Ray is a 3-day and 2-night stay. Dens will experience a variety of fun and challenging programs designed to introduce them to the resident camp format, while offering plenty of opportunities for strengthening relationships and personal growth.

Event Sessions

Summer Cub Adventure Camp – all Cub Scouts and their families
- Weekend 1: June 12 - 14; Weekend 2: June 19 - 21
Webelos/AOL Camp – Webelos/AOL Scouts and their leaders
- Session 1: June 8 - 10; Session 2: June 15 - 17; Session 3: June 22 - 24

Each campsite is equipped with a tent platform and a BSA wall tent (sleeps 2), items to bring: a ground cloth, cot, bedding, toiletries, change of clothes, swimming trunks, water bottle, camp chair, bug spray and sunscreen. 3 meals a day will be served in our air-conditioned dining hall. Packs are camped together, two-deep leadership is required. All adults and youth will be required to take the swim test if you plan to swim at the pool.

Swimming, climbing, reptiles, advancements, archery, nature, campfires, crafts, BB Shooting, canoeing, first aid, and much more!

Webelos/AOL Fees

Cost

$225: Youth Participants
$150 Adult Participants

Payment Schedule

A minimum payment of $100 is due with each registration. This $100 minimum is non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments are due for each Scout on the dates below:
October 1, 2025 - January 14, 2026 at 10:59 p.m.: $10 per person plus
January 14 at 11:00 p.m. - May 1 at 10:59 p.m.: $50 per person (total of $60 per person due by this date)
All payment is due in full for all participants beginning on May 1 at 11:00 p.m.
The deadline to register is 14 days prior to each week's session (Sundays before 11:00 p.m.). Late additions/substitutions after the deadline or walk-ins at camp cannot be accommodated.
Cancellations must be received at least 10 days prior to the event start date. See the cancellation and refund policy HERE.
