Welcome to the West Park District!
Our district is made up of a large geographical area, including the Park Cities (University Park and Highland Park), the Fair Park area, downtown and uptown and West Dallas. We are one of the most diverse districts in Circle Ten Council which is awesome!
The Park cities boast some of the most active, largest and oldest units in the council. The Fair Park area has some strong traditional units while many units in the area tend to be non-traditional - meaning they are staff by paid Scout leaders. While these non-traditional units are not technically part of our district, they are within our boundaries and are welcomed and encouraged to participate in all the activities West Park District has to offer!
We know that communication is important, so we have worked to create a single place for everyone to get their information. Here on the Circle Ten Council website you will find information regarding our district - activities, camping opportunities, trainings, meeting schedules, etc. Once you have subscribed to the appropriate NEWS channels, we can communicate with you AND you can begin to receive customized "newsletters" that contains only the content you care about!
This website is for everyone in our district! Whether you are a Scout, a registered leader, or a parent - there is something here for you!
