Scouts BSA & Venturing Roundtable Commissioner: Molly Parsons
Who: All Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, and Venturing Leaders - Every unit should be represented at Roundtable each month in order to stay connected and informed.
What: Roundtable is a place for adult leaders to gather, network with other Scouters, receive supplemental training, and learn important district and council information. The monthly event provides program topic guidance, information about district/council events, and constructive suggestions for unit leaders. It is a fun learning environment that creates excitement around the coming month of activities and program for unit leaders to carry back for implementation in their units.
When: Second Thursday of each month, 6:00 p.m.
Where: (Jan, Apr, Aug, Oct) First United Methodist Church, 301 Church Street, Sulphur Springs
Where: (Feb, Mar, May, Sep, Nov, Dec) Zoom (Invitations will be sent out and posted here and on Facebook)
Why: "Every Scout deserves a trained leader" and you will have FUN and learn new ideas to take back to your units, as well as, make new friends!
