Important: Newsletter Editor Transition

June 29, 2025 will be the last newsletter I will edit and produce. As of today my replacement has not been named. It has been a rewarding experience, but after more than 22 years in the position, it is far past time for a change.

To ensure continued timely and accurate communications with the district, we urgently need a new volunteer to take on this role. Please be aware that if a new editor is not identified by June 29th, we will unfortunately be unable to continue publishing the newsletter.

This position does not require a lot of computer knowledge or time, but the volunteer needs to be diligent about keeping up with what needs to be communicated and updating the community on regular basis. Over the years we have found that doing this weekly works well.

I am committed to making this transition as smooth as possible and and train my replacement and be available for ongoing support as needed.

If you are interested in the position on know someone who would be a good fit, please contact the District Chair, Lester Cox if you are willing to take on this role. lester.cox@icloud.com

Thanks for support over the years and your help in ensuring that Northern Trail delivers the promise of scouting.
