RENEWAL PROCESS UPDATES

Circle Ten Council remains committed to ensuring that unit members are getting their membership renewed in a timely manner, to avoid anyone being dropped and losing access to the Scouting program. Circle Ten Council also understands there have been some difficulties with the original plan and we have come up with a revised plan, which should look familiar to those who have been in our council for several years. We hope this process will be easier and we appreciate your flexibility and willingness to help us work through the process.

Your unit commissioners have already communicated with your unit Key 3 leadership on this new plan. 

Circle Ten Council plans to go back to what we know works and simplify the renewal process.  We need your help in taking ownership of the renewal process by selecting a unit membership coordinator to do the following:

• Review the list provided by the council of youth and adults that are due to renew in their unit by month, through December.

• Contact the members due to renew and determine if they plan to renew or drop and make necessary notation on the provided list.

• Indicate in an additional column next to each members' renewal status if they want Scout Life magazine.

• Collect the required registration fees from the members due to renew.

• Send the updated renewal list with collected registration fees back to the council for processing.

• The council will renew members based on their renewal month.

Replenishment #10 orders can be picked up on Thursday, October 24, from noon - 6:00 p.m. at the Advocare warehouse, 2800 Telecom Pkwy.

THE FINAL ORDER is coming up! You can place individual container orders beginning October 24 with the last date to enter an order being October 28. This final, individual container order, will be available for pick-up on November 7, which is also the date you need to have a zero balance due to the council!

You are getting down to the wire on being able to order product, but remember that online sales continue through the end of the year AND you can continue to sell any remaining product through the end of the year. Keep pushing!

Make sure you are familiar with what will be happening...and when...this fall, as you plan your 2024-2025 calendars and budgets! And don't forget...you can attend any event, regardless of which district is hosting!
