Q: How are users notified of changes and content in the IHUBApp?
A: Users that enable push notifications will be notified when content is published to Channels they have joined, or published to everyone.
There are 3 ways that a Registered User of the IHUBApp can be notified:
1. POP UP/PUSH NOTIFICATIONS: A pop up notification banner that appears when you are actively viewing the IHUBApp (shown in image below). Push notifications while not actively viewing an IHUBApp and the Test Notification button are only available on desktop browsers, and Android OS devices. This feature is currently not supported by iOS devices.

2. IN APP NOTIFICATIONS: A numbered bubbled that is displayed in a notification area on IHUBApp to highlight content that the Registered User has not seen yet.
3. EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS: Daily or weekly Digests are sent to the Users email with all the content that they haven't viewed yet in the IHUBApp (based on Channels they have joined). When a Message is sent through the Message Center on the IHUBApp, the Registered User will be notified by email. When a Registered User is invited by the Administrator to join a specific Channel, an email will be sent with an invitation.
Q: How can Registered Users enable or disable push notifications and email notifications?
A: Registered Users can go to their Account settings by selecting their Avatar Icon on the top right of the IHUBApp or on the left side navigation menu then selecting the "Notifications" tab. Once they have made their changes, select the "Update" button at the bottom to save.
