Soaring Eagle District is having an Awards Dinner. We will be recognizing the Scouts who earned their Eagle Rank and we will also be recognizing adult leaders who have put forth extra effort to provide a quality Scouting program in our community. The Dinner will take place on March 5, 7:00 p.m., at The Grace Place, 520 Big Stone Gap Rd., Duncanville. Dinner is tentatively going to be catered by Eddie Deen Ranch.
Below are the nomination forms. Please fill these out and submit them to Marcus Ludwig as soon as possible!
- The Lightning Award: given to the individual or couple who have done an outstanding job within your own unit.
- The Daddy Wisdom Award: given to the Scouter who has gone the extra mile to provide a quality program within the district.
- The Baden - Powell Unit Honor Award: Every unit should fill this out. It recognizes each unit that does a great job of providing the Scouting program to our youth by doing the various things that are earmarks of a quality unit.
Who doesn't like being recognized for the hard work that is put forth?
These have always been a great time of fun, food and fellowship in the past. It is great to be able to do this again after not being able to the last couple of years!
